Education Sessions

Education Sessions

Education sessions are designed to offer GP Speciality Registrars tuition that is relevant to their training. The specific arrangements for each group may vary from scheme to scheme. In general education sessions, for all schemes the groups are split.

Hospital Posts - Half day release teaching sessions for trainees in hospital posts is held on Tuesdays at Warrington hospital, Postgraduate Centre.
Start Time - 13.30hrs till 16.30 hours

GP Posts - Half day release teaching sessions for trainees in GP posts is held on Thursdays at Halton hospital, Postgraduate Centre.

GP Recruitment

  • GP recruitment is a national process taking place annually.
  • Entry to a programme of training is for three years.
